Drops of Rain

What is a complete person? I wish I knew. I will jot down what I have considered so far.

The conceptual idea of what an ideal person should be is not what he or she ought to be but what they do when they become that person. The badges of honor that we wear are like so many cliches; cliches. A male should become the archtypical gentlemen. Not in sense of the nobility or possesion rich type. The gentleman should encompass in all his actions a moral and ethical stanza that incorporate his cultures ethos and that of the master culture in which he resides. One should encourage others, to stand up for others, to foster memories of times in which he was the individual that he is now attempting to help. We ought not be the knights in shiny armor cliche but more the man who walks down the street and seeks not personal glory or fortune but acts in a way that will not only benefit himself or the collective but also the world around him. The world of man must not have a clear definition between his world and that of nature but incorporate the fact that man is part of nature. The identities that come with this ideal man come with the following. The individual, the lover, the warrior, the citizen, the naturalist. A complete male should not be so specialized that he stunts the growth of his identities. *The citizen should not be the kind of person who so willingly surrenders to the collective but one that will encourage the other citizens to not accept the tyranny of the collective*

collide and make a stream
to a river and to the ocean
one drop of rain started it.
